On September 18 the leadership and staff of In Defense of Christians (IDC), IRD’s program advocating for the protection and preservation of Christianity in the Middle East, welcomed friends at IDC’s 10th Anniversary Celebration. The celebration followed IDC’s annual Capitol Hill Advocacy Day.
Even if you were unable to attend in person, enjoy the festivities and speeches in the video provided below from IDC’s YouTube channel.
In Defense of Christians is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that serves the historic Christian communities of the Middle East through unified, coordinated advocacy and greater public awareness. In particular, IDC seeks to promote awareness and preserve the historic Christian communities of the Middle East and to advocate on their behalf. This awareness will be focused on countries of concern, such as Egypt, Iraq, and Syria, Iran and Sudan, contrasting them with models of equality and pluralism in the region, such as Lebanon and Jordan.

There should be no mystery regarding a major reason the nations listed as countries of concern don’t like Christians: Ever since the end of World War I, nations that are supposedly Christian have been forces of destabilization, meddling, misery, and death in the region. And that continues up to today, with the widespread slaughter perpetuated by the Christian proxy and aggressor nation in the region, Israel.
How can you expect people not to have a negative view of a religion when the supposed followers of that religion have created so much misery and such a mess for them?

You don’t think Islam has created destabilization, meddling, misery, and death in that region as well?
