Methodist & Pro-Life

Methodist & Pro-Life

Mark Tooley on February 3, 2022

On January 21 IRD hosted the 34th annual Lifewatch worship service, with Dr. Tesia Mallory, chapel dean of United Theological Seminary, preaching. Video of the service is posted below.

Lifewatch president Paul Stallsworth officiated, and Asbury Theological Seminary professor Jonathan Powers was music leader.

United Methodism first affirmed abortion rights in 1970 but has steadily adopted more pro-life stances over the last 30 years.

The Global Methodist Church will definitely be very pro-life, from conception to natural death. Lifewatch can become their official pro-life ministry, still opened to the United Methodist Church pro-life members who decide to remain.
