 UNDERSTANDING CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNITED METHODIST RENEWAL

Registration opens at 9am – Workshop begins at 9:30 AM and concludes at 12:00 PM

We will cover five key challenges:

      Unorthodoxy in the Seminaries    Unaccountable Leaders

      Missions without Evangelism        Disagreements over Sexual Morality

      Radical Political Agendas

Well explore each challenge, discuss the progress that has been

made, and explore opportunities for continued improvement.

Our main presenter will be… Mark Tooley

Mark Tooley is the president of the Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD) and directs its United Methodist committee (UMAction) – a ministry to reclaim America’s third largest religious body for historic Christian beliefs. He is the author of Taking Back The United Methodist Church and Methodism and Politics in the 20th Century.
