The Institute on Religion and Democracy heard from Fr. Robert Gahl of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. on January 22 for our “Wednesday Worship” noonday prayer and luncheon.

The monthly gathering aims to foster Christian fellowship within the greater Washington area. IRD hosts prominent Christian leaders to deliver sermons, pray, and facilitate worship.

Gahl, a Roman Catholic priest, spoke to the IRD staff and guests on Hebrews 1:1-4 and “The Refulgence of His Glory and the Kingdom Within.”

Video of the worship service can be accessed below via IRD’s Facebook page.

An Associate Professor in the Busch School of Business at Catholic University of America, Gahl has relaunched Church Management Programs including the Master in Ecclesiastical Administration and Management (MEAM). He is also Associate Professor of Ethics in the School of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Santa Croce) in Rome where he was Director of the Program of Church Management (2017-2022).
