Weekday Worship with the Rev. Timothy Cole

Collin Bastian on August 25, 2022

The Institute on Religion and Democracy hosted the Rev. Timothy Cole, Rector of Christ Church in Georgetown, to deliver our Weekday Worship sermon on August 25 at noon, where he spoke on Luke 6:17-26.

This is the second weekday worship which IRD has facilitated. Earlier this year, Pastor Ben Palka of King’s Church DC came to the IRD office to deliver a sermon and lead in worship. If you are in the DC area and would like to join us for worship in person, please contact Collin Bastian at cbastian@theird.org for more information.

You mean to say there is still an orthodox parish in the ultra liberal diocese of Washington which has a pro gay woman bishop? Why is he not in the ACNA.?

Probably for the same reason that All Saints Chevy Chase or St. Francis Potomac remain in the same diocese.

The work of IRD is made possible by your generous contributions.
