Remembering Our Sisters on International Women’s Day

on March 8, 2017

In this 7 minute video, I celebrate the freedom, opportunity, and equality with which women are blessed in the West, especially in the United States, and remind you of our sisters around the world who are not so fortunate.

While some women in America are protesting shrilly about their victim status and refusing to work today (just miles from me, in Alexandria, Virginia, the schools are closed today for “A Day Without Women” . . . no comment), women who are truly victimized suffer from oppressive regimes and ideologies.

In the video, I choose to honor and raise a voice, especially for those women who are persecuted, imprisoned, and tortured for their faith, and yet live triumphantly.

Cheers! Celebrate all the good gifts of freedom and opportunity that you have in America, my fellow women, and pray for the justice of God for your sisters who suffer.
