Controversy Brews Over UM Seminary Interfaith Move

On June 9, United Methodist Claremont School of Theology Jerry Campbell announced that his seminary will begin training Muslim and Jewish clergy, with eventual hopes of training Hindu and Buddhist clergy. Meanwhile, the church’s University Senate will decide later this month whether to continue the cut-off of church funds to Claremont.
