Wednesday Worship with Theodore Hoham

The Institute on Religion and Democracy hosted the Rev. Theodore Hoham, Associate Pastor at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Virginia on November 19 for our “Wednesday Worship” noonday prayer and luncheon.

The monthly gathering aims to foster Christian fellowship within the greater Washington area. IRD hosts prominent Christian leaders to deliver sermons, pray, and facilitate worship.

Hoham, a Lutheran minister, spoke to the IRD staff and guests on Ephesians 6:10-13 and John 8:31-36 themed “Stay in the Fight.”

Prior to serving as the Associate Pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hoham served in the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps where he continues as a reservist and as a host on Worship Anew for the Armed Forces Network.

Video of the worship service can be accessed below via IRD’s Facebook page.
