This past week I visited Latrobe, Pennsylvania for the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) Provincial Assembly. Earlier in the week the denomination’s College of Bishops elected a new Archbishop, Steve Wood of the Diocese of the Carolinas, to lead the church.
I sat down with Kevin Kallsen of Anglican TV to chat about the new Archbishop, the direction of the growing church, and conversations taking place alongside Assembly. Viewers can access the episode on the Anglican TV YouTube channel below, or download podcast audio here.

What????
“Diocese of the Carolinas is a geographic diocese”???
You’ve got to be kidding. No way.
Abp Wood has cherry picked over and over … and now overlaps majorly with Diocese of South Carolina, has 1 church in Georgia, a church in Wilmore, Kentucky. Do your homework before you make such a statement

Oh wow, Cindy! We should definitely throw out 1,700 years of geographic dioceses because Abp Wood oversees congregations that…directly abut his state lines. We both know that the Diocese of the Carolinas was established years before DioSC joined ACNA. The point is gradual movement to resolve this, a lone mission on the other side of the Savannah River doesn’t immediately invalidate the concept of one bishop, one diocese (canon 8 of the Council of Ephesus – AD 431, since you want proof of homework).
