What is the Ukrainian War’s impact upon the church? Today the Institute on Religion & Democracy hosted Ukrainian Pastors Igor Bandura and Mark Sergeyev to speak at a luncheon held at our offices in Washington.
Bandura, a Ukrainian Baptist pastor, and Sergeyev, a Ukrainian chaplain, are visiting Washington on behalf of Defenders of Faith and Religious Freedom in the Ukraine. The organization exists to defend the right to peacefully practice Christianity in one’s chosen house of worship and to advocate for the defense of religious freedom from Russian aggression in Ukraine.
