The Institute on Religion and Democracy hosted Wednesday Worship with Michael McDowell, a Pastoral Resident serving on the staff of The King’s Church of Washington, DC, who delivered IRD’s Wednesday Worship sermon this month on August 23.
McDowell is a native Texan and an alumnus of Rice University and United Methodist affiliated Duke Divinity School. He has several years of ministry experience in youth and college ministries and is passionate about communicating the Gospel to young people in cities.
