Canadian writer Randy Boyagoda discussed his new biography of Richard John Neuhaus, author of the Institute on Religion and Democracy’s (IRD) founding document, at a lunch event hosted by IRD on October 19. Boyagoda’s biography resulted from five years of extensive research into Neuhaus’s life and work. Speaking from his deep familiarity Neuhaus, Boyagoda reflected on the vast contributions of the pastor-turned-priest to Christian theology and political thought. The event also included a Q&A time with attendees, several of whom were former colleagues of Neuhaus. Posted here is a video of the event:
