Convicting Kermit Gosnell of three murders amounted to little more than convicting Al Capone of tax evasion. Gosnell’s thirty-year killing spree claimed thousands. At his hands, more people were killed than at the hands of the terrorists of 9/11. Further, the manner of his killing was grisly. He severed spinal columns. The women whose babies he killed didn’t fare well either. Their wombs were ripped and their blood was spilled. For Christians and people of good will, the jury trial revealed the horrors which are the logical end of abortion. But the rest of the nation ignored the proceedings. However, the filmaker’s behind ‘FrackNation’ didn’t. They are starting a campaign to make a movie to change the nation’s mind about abortion.
During the Gosnell trial I remember two distinct types of Gosnell story. The first were revelations about what the man had done. These were often pieces working the tense tightrope between journalistic restraint and accurate reporting of the story. The crimes of Kermit Gosnell do not make for polite conversation, but they none-the-less must be shared. The second type of story during the trial was a periodic lament from a pro-life leader about how little attention the story was receiving. With this film project, Christians and people of good will have a chance to remedy the silence surrounding Gosnell and take part in telling a story the nation needs to hear.
I ask you; please donate and please share the project. I am not Jerry Lewis or a public television personality; therefore I lack the right words to ask for money to support a cause. All I am is a blogger. If ever there was a social media campaign worth starting, or a story worth sharing, this is it. Every pro-life person has the chance to take part in telling our neighbors about Gosnell. Please support this project.
