Carolyn Woodall, the first transgender deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin, led the Gospel procession during the Integrity Eucharist at Episcopal General Convention in Indianapolis in 2012. Woodall's mission has been moved into a formerly Anglican church building.
