On Friday, June 7, the Institute on Religion and Democracy hosted Marsh Moyle for a lunch and discussion of his new book Rumors of a Better Country: Searching for trust and community in a time of moral outrage.
Marsh Moyle spent many years smuggling Bibles, literature, printing presses, ink, and printing paper into the Iron Curtain countries of Eastern and Central Europe and Russia. Following the end of the Soviet Union, he moved to Bratislava, Slovakia at a publishing house and study center that helped to reveal the relevance of ancient biblical truths for a culture transitioning from totalitarianism to freedom.
Marsh continues to work in the Central European region but has relocated to England, where he partners with the L’Abri fellowship outside of London.
