Josiah Hasbrouck is a Summer 2023 intern at the Institute on Religion & Democracy, recently graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cairn University with a BA in Politics and minors in Bible and Philosophy. While at Cairn, Hasbrouck researched and wrote an Honors thesis on 16th-18th century Protestant natural law theory, in coordination with the American Enterprise Institute’s Young Scholars Program. Josiah’s academic interests primarily lie at the intersection of theology, philosophy, ethics, which he hopes to study further in graduate school.
