Why I March for Life? To Reject Pro-Abortion Christianity

on January 10, 2018

One of the first memories I have of a pro-abortion Christian — yes, pro-abortion Christian — was during an encounter while at a college campus ministry. I confess that in college I got a lot about theology dead wrong. But was abortion really up for debate in the Church?

It happened when another female student admonished a pro-life statement I made. To be honest, I don’t even remember what I said. Maybe something about Planned Parenthood committing genocide. I can’t recall my exact comment. But the young woman’s passionate defense of an abortion clinic is still a vivid memory. I was left baffled. She was not a radical feminist classmate. Not my coworker. Not an unsaved friend. This was a fellow Christian.

I regret saying nothing in response to the young woman…

Is it possible to ignore Commandment #6, in fact murder over 320,000 children annually (Planned Parenthood), for example, and be a practicing Christian? “Pro-Abortion Christianity” is an oxymoron.

Chelsen, I always appreciate your passion for this issue. As one who was ambivalent about abortion for many years, I am glad that I and my late wife finally understood the spiritual evil nature of abortion. As a result, I’ve been criticized many times for my pro-life, anti-abortion stance. You see, I am a man of now 74 years. My views don’t even get a hearing many times strictly because I am a man.

A pro-infanticide Christian!?! That’s an oxymoron if there ever was one.

That’s like saying “I’m a pro-murderer Christian!” or “I’m pro-rapist Christian!” or “I’m a pro-kidnapper Christian!” All three (the first one includes those who murder in utero infants) are capital crimes according to the Only One with the authority to determine what constitutes a capital criminal.

This is but another consequence of today’s antinomian* Christians–which is also an oxymoron.

For more on how Yahweh’s immutable triune moral law (His Ten Commandments and their respective statutes and judgments) applies and should be implemented today, see free online book “Law and Kingdom: Their Relevance Under the New Covenant” at http://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/law-kingdomFrame.html.

The battle against this atrocity begins with identifying it correctly. By calling it “abortion,” we’ve already acquiesced to the opposition’s terminology. Look up “abortion” and “miscarriage” in any dictionary. A miscarriage is an abortion. What doctors (and parents) do to infants in the womb is infanticide. Had Roe v. Wade been waged over infanticide rather than abortion, it would have never made it to the court room. In fact, by employing the word “abortion,” Roe v. Wade was won before it ever got to court.

The Greek word “brephos” employed in the New Testament for infants already born is the same word used for infants in the womb (Luke 2:12 and Luke 1:41), without specifying the precise moment they became a “brephos.” Therefore, our only option is to then accept that they became such at conception. Thus, intentionally killing a brephos at any point is “brephocide” or, more properly, infanticide.*

The point being, we Christians need to stop using the non-Christians’ watered-down, politically correct terms such as “abortion” and “gay.” It’s infanticide and sodomy. There is no power in the former terms against evil and our first mistake is in acquiescing to the ungodly’s terminology.

*The same is true for the Old Testament Hebrew word translated infant or baby.

Until the so called “Pro-lifers” start advocating for His judgment (death penalty) for murder in the womb, little will change.

    And Now Murderers:

“How the faithful city has become a harlot, She was full of justice!  Righteous once lodged in her, But now murderers.”   Isaiah 1:21.

“Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”  Hosea 4: 6.

And: verse 10: “They will play the harlot, but not increase, Because they have stopped giving heed to Yahweh.”

The only way to save this nation is to turn back to Him, His Perfect Moral Laws, Statutes and Judgments, i.e., His Kingdom/Will On Earth.

He told us that if His people ” … shall humble themselves (e.g., quit thinking we’re the sovereign, take our proper place and quit usurping His), and pray, and seek my face (e.g., He’s to be the ONLY law giver), and turn from their wicked ways (e.g., seek His Kingdom/Will and promote the enforcement of His Laws, Statutes and Judgments); THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, And I will give you rest. Take My yoke (i.e., His Law 1 John 5: 2 & 3, as well as His tithe [tax] system) upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and ‘YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.’ (Jer. 6: 16). My yoke is easy, and My load is light.” Matthew 11: 28 – 30.

Seek Him while He may yet be found.  The Judgments are surrounding you.

Woke up to pray for my daughter, Angela, who has liver and colon cancer. I have been pro-life for a very long time. By the grace of God this popped up on my screen. You see I have loved ones that do not believe as I do. Thank you for writing and putting into words the fact abortion is indeed the wrong word to use. As I watch my daughter, Angela, fight for her life, so she can see her daughter graduate from high school, I can’t help but think of the beautiful baby, as the baby, ( already known by God) fight for his/her life as the mother allows this to be done. My heart aches, because the gift of life is given so little value by so called Christians too. Lord, help me to walk with you in love and peace in my heart and courage to speak.
