Homosexual activists gather across the country for gay pride festivals this month. Here in Washington, D.C., the Capital Pride Festival marked its 40th year on Saturday the 13th, with hotels and other travel vendors flying rainbow flags and companies sponsoring the annual parade.
Commercial vendors were not the only ones seeking to raise their profile in the gay and lesbian community: church officials and congregations ranging from retired Episcopal Church Bishop Gene Robinson of New Hampshire to retired United Methodist Bishop Calvin D. McConnell of the Pacific Northwest were also on-hand for the events.
Below is a compilation of some tweets that LGBT-affirming churches shared over the weekend.

The clergy march in the parades,
the laity march out the door.
They will face two things extremely unpleasant –
empty churches and
the judgment seat of God Almighty.

Getting your photo taken holding a rainbow flag is a Christian act?

Gene Robinson- the first bishop to break wedding vows to two different genders. What a role model.

Must be that “diversity” they’re always talking about.

I’m guessing that at the Last Judgment divorce will not be at the top of his list of sins, a list roughly the size of the Obamacare Act.

Fear not the Lutherans and Episcopalians pictured above. Fear the United Methodist youth and their sad little truck!

Pathetic

If there is no repentance, that last of the rainbow doors will be re-lettered: “–ll”.
+ “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent,
ye shall all likewise perish.” + Jesus Christ, Luke 13:3.

Very encouraged by seeing these wonderful photos. Hoping the Christian message of God’s unconditional love is heard by many more people as a result of these peoples’ involvement in their Pride Parades. The Gospel is one beggar telling another beggar where he can find bread – not judging him and saying no bread for you…..

I agree – I have much to repent. Still, we cannot deny our Lord Jesus. Read Gen 1-2 and Rev 21-22. WE are in danger of losing our souls. Also watch everlastinghills.org. You will see three people who are walking the walk.
