This is such a great article and so appropriate to read right now. We are studying Revelation in our United Methodist Sunday school class and the topic of Catholic worship of Mary came up. Having been raised Catholic, I told the class that Catholics do not worship Mary. She is revered as the Mother of Jesus Christ and has a special place in heaven as His Mother And is an intercessor for the faithful.
I will send this on to everyone in our class. Thank you.

thank you betsy. how wise and brave of you to properly explain how we honor Mary but don’t worship her. most cradle catholics weren’t catechized as well as you!
